Quinn Caldwell - Occupational Therapist

Quinn has been a licensed occupational therapist in the state of Arkansas for close to 18 years.  She graduated from the Occupational Therapy program at the University of Central Arkansas in 2000.

Quinn initially landed on the path to a career in occupational therapy after her great aunt received a diagnosis of dementia. After completing the Occupational Therapy program with the intention to work with our elderly population, her first professional job, in a pediatric therapy facility, changed all of that. It was hard not to fall head over heels in love with working with children.  The decision to adjust her plans was not a difficult one as she quickly decided to dedicate her life to helping children and families with special struggles and special needs.

Over the years, much of her time and energy outside of work has been devoted to seeking out specialized training in sensory processing, behavior supports, kinesiotaping, myfascial release, craniosacral therapy, Handwriting Without Tears, The AEIOU Approach to therapeutic feeding, Greenspan's Floortime (a favorite!), visual perceptual deficits, the Wilbarger Deep Pressure Protocol, Therapeutic Listening, Bal-A-Vis-X, The Alert Program, Astronaut Training, yoga, and kickboxing.

Currently Quinn has moved back to her roots in true southern form. Today she has settled down in her grandmother's 1930 historic home, the Mathews-Bryan House, in North Little Rock. She shares this magnificent space with her own special friends, all of which have come to her home via adoption or rescue. Her furry and feathery friends include a dog named Camilla Louise Moneypenny, a cat named Fat Kitty, an African grey parrot named Willie Bird, a sun conure named Polly PrissyPants, and a green cheek conure named Larry Bird.  When not working or training, her heart is happiest when spending quiet time on the deck of her home, shopping at auctions and estate sales, (for bargains of course or at least something spectacularly unique) and spending quality time with her two favorite people, her daughters Sage and Poppy.

Happiness @ work.

Every day is full of sunshine and smiles.
